M.S. Sports Management
Coach Nicole joins the coaching staff after most recently coaching for the Jr. Gladiators in Johns Creek, Ga. A native of Brewster, N.Y., she started coaching youth lacrosse during high school to spread the knowledge of the game and help develop the youth of the town. After graduating high school, she went on to play lacrosse collegiately at Roger Williams University. At RWU, Coach Nicole was a captain, All-Conference member, and helped the Hawks claim their first-ever Conference title. Since graduating college, she helped coach with various clubs, camps, and high school teams, spreading the love of the game. She worked for the Georgia Swarm in Duluth, Ga., to pursue her passion of lacrosse and media as a Digital Content Producer.
B.S. Sports Management
Coach Gwen played High School Lacrosse on a strong Hutchison High School team in Memphis, TN. She helped her team to three state championships during her tenure. She played travel ball for SkyWalkers Lacrosse in Baltimore, MD. She went on to play collegiately at Indiana University and was team Captain for 2 years. Coach Gwen spent 2 years at the Georgia Swarm front office as the Lacrosse Operations and Community Affairs Manager.
FUN FACT: Coach Gwen she has been to every state in the United States except for Hawaii, something she is actively looking to rectify, and speaks Chinese Proficiently.
M.S. Occupational Therapy
Coach Nikki Carter is on the Coaching Staff of Sequoia High School. With a passion for coaching and nurturing young talent, Nikki has made significant contributions as a coach at Sequoyah High School. She coaches JV flag football and both JV and Varsity women’s lacrosse teams, guiding her players to achieve their best both on and off the field. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Nikki serves as a school-based occupational therapist for Cherokee County School District serving three elementary schools. Coach Nikki’s journey in athletics began early on in her youth where she took up multiple different sports. During her time at Brenau University, Nikki was a dedicated student-athlete, playing for the University’s softball, basketball, and lacrosse teams.
Coach Tori played lacrosse at William T. Dwyer High School in West Palm Beach, FL. She currently plays collegiately at Oglethorpe majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Last season she broke the record for most single saves in a reason (201) while also becoming the first Oglethorpe lacrosse player to receive an all-region award. Coach Tori received many other accolades including the All-Tournament team, 1st team All-Conference, and Defensive Player of the Year for her team. She aspires to be a Physician Assistant specializing in Sports Medicine.
FUN FACT: Coach Tori created/is the president of her own sports club on campus and J. Cole is her favorite artist.
